I've got a full heavy duty aluminum skid plate in the works for the Vipers. From what I saw on the pre production Sidewinders it appears they will have same belly pan as the Vipers.

Here are a few specs and pics of what we have in the works.

Plate will be 3/16" 6061 aluminum with natural finish. Powdercoating will be an option.

Mounting bolts will be threaded countersunk bolts that utilize existing threads in chassis. Bottom will be flush with no bolt heads to snag like oem set up.

No rivet drilling required. Plate will have holes in it to clear existing rivets and sit flush against the stock belly pan.

Plate will conform around lower side panels towards rear. No need to remove lower side panels to get plate off.

Going to target a sell price similar to our Nytro skid plates which are $65.

Very nice, and you have a hole left so we can get to the oil filter, and don't have to remove the plate completely in order to do this,i like it so far.

Too bad you couldnt just put a hinge on it. Ah second thought it only gets filter changed once a year anyway. Whats a few screws.

Man,i like that hindge idea.

Just about got this product finished up. To install the skid plate you will remove panels "A" and "B" as in picture below. The new skid plate has shims riveted to it to account for the panels being removed. The new skid plate then mounts using (4) holes marked with "X" in picture. The two holes in the rear are countersunk.

Most vipers we've worked have panels A and B already mangled, so rather than requiring customers to flatten their existing plates out we felt it was better to do away with them.

At 3/16" thick, this plate will provide superior protection to the front tunnel cooler and engine oil pan, and still be easily removable for oil changes!

Final retail is going to be $85 for natural finish.

I will confirm once production models start arriving in the fall.

Still no Sidewinders here in the east so I can confirm a fit up. Can anyone that has gotten one post up some pics of the belly pan of a sidewinder? Better yet if anyone has a sidewinder in their possession and is interested in a skid plate I will send you one at no charge in exchange for review on fit up! ;)!

I have a good deal of sidewinder guys interested and would like to confirm fit up before selling any.

If I had mine, I would be taking you up on the offer. I'm guessing a BTX, XTX guy will have one for you soon. Heard there are a few out there.
Currently, working on the headlight rebuild kit and dash plastic for the Vector btw. Hopefully, get this done before the SW gets here. Then focus on accessorizing that!

PM me Travis, happy to test it for you.

When you make sure they work on the Sidewinder, I will be ready for one also. ;)!

Sending one out to Drantel this week for a trial fit up. Thanks Nick for offering to help on this. ;)!

Since this verification will take place after my 15% off TY sale I plan to offer a special price for all those wanting one for their sidewinder.
