Batteries???

Maybe move the battery from the 15 to the 14 and see if it repeats? That way the new battery remains safe.

Just a thought.

That or put the new battery in the battery killer and rely on warranty.

Now I have to change its name from "CAT XF1100" Killer to battery killer!!!

It just gets old! I am on 3rd battery in the 14. I bought a lawn tractor last year this spring it was dead and would not take a charge. The Cuda took a new one but that was sitting in my shop untouched but the optimate once every couple of months for 3 yrs and the battery was in it when I got it, so no idea how old it was. Girlfriend has a 2000 Caddi Eldo and put a battery in that last November and it sat through the first cold snap and froze solid. Put a new one in that about 4 weeks ago and it went dead after a week of not driving it.
Geez Dog don't you dare park next to me.
Work on your MOJO.

Well I have all of them wired to the back side of the switch so when it is off they are off only live things are the GPS tracker and the horn (beep - beep)

I believe it's just bad luck. Like said batteries just suck especially when you rely on almost a dozen of them. Odds are bad with that many. Also batteries are not warrantied by factories anymore. Just use the heck out of them while you can.

While I agree with luck, I have to say I have been very lucky with some of mine. My boat is 2008 and both of the deep cycles as well as the starting battery are still working fine. My 2007 Duramax truck (built 2006) got new batteries in 2014 not because the old ones were kaput, but because I sensed that they were getting weak and would not likely make it through another winter. My '96 Deere 455 garden tractor seems to need a new battery every 6-8 yrs as well. None of these reside on Tenders.

On the flip side those that I have accessory drains on tend to fail quite early in life. Forgetting to turn off cell boosters, Nav systems, radar detectors, etc can kill a battery faster than you'd think. Not sure what your GPS beacon consumes, but could be related.

I have a lot of vehicles around here, and I do nothing special and mine last as well as others. But like said earlier OVERCHARGING a battery can kill it quick.

I have two Optimate 6's and one Optimate 4. Those chargers are always on something around here from time to time. I'm sold that they work wonders for battery life. I cant remember the last time I needed a replacement battery for anything. Both are good but if your going to buy a new one just go for the 6 and you wont regret it, you can throw it on any battery size or type and not worry.

Just bought my first Optimate last week. It brought one battery I thought was shot back. Another it couldn't help. I am very impressed with it so far. I think how it varies voltage while charging makes sense like I said before using the battery often seems to make them last longer. Well when you are riding or driving most things the voltage is varyining with rpm. Could be key.

My sleds sit in the trailer all summer with the battery in them and not on a charger. They start up all the time like a champ.
