Beginner questions


with this sled..you could remove the bar and be on the softest setting and barely wheelie...the rear shock/spring is barely going to give based on your weight...I had basically the same sled last year (sans minor changes) and I go 180 and was full soft max transfer wouldn't really lift the skis...

I hear you. This sled will be better in that aspect SJ. You will see. Yamaha engine got the balance further back than your Turbo Cat.
 
The limiter straps play a role as well,for handling,skis planted,but does effect ride to a degree depending on how tight you pull them down,as you have now shortened your front skid shock travel some,so we generally losen or tighten the front skid coil spring according on strap position,lose preload will load the skis more and tighten the preload will lighten the front skis.
