will these be available for purchase in Canada? when?

Yes these will be available to those in Canada and also at 20% off. I have 20 ready now that I'm taking to the Excell grass drags this weekend. I have more on order. If i have some left after this weekend I can ship one next week to you. Send me a PM with your shipping info and I will get back to you.

Is it all bolt on? Just thought rivets would look better from front maybe.

That top piece is the key, as that is where a HI SPEED belt blow smacks the plastic and cracks it.

Looks good, I think this will be a smart addition for potential belt blower.

thanx

I opted for SS round head allen bolts for a cleaner look on outside. I didn't think they looked bad...

There's really no predicting what a blown belt will do to the protector, so my preference is for the pieces to be easily removable in the event that one deforms and makes contact with clutch. If we go with rivets trail side removal is not really an option.

Good thinking on possibly needing to remove it. ;)

I checked your store, still not on their yet. Be sure to let me know when its ready, Id like to grab it in first batch.

thx

For those in Canada, it looks like shipping will be around $15. I just quoted one to Nova Scotia and that's what it would cost. Obviously this will vary on exact location, but just wanted to give a general idea for shipping cost.

This will be eligible for 20% of to Canadians, so cost for Canadians is $40 USD. Contact me direct to obtain the discounted price.

Hey hibshman25.. Sent you (What i thought) was a PM however ended up being a conversation thread start??? In any event, interested in acquiring a belt protector....

If I wanted to not bolt it to the brake caliper, is the gaurd formed tight to the plastic under the clutches and next to the caliper to install it with rivets ?

If the belt is capable of blowing through the plastic without the guard what's the likely hood that the force put on plate wouldn't crack the plastic where the two screws go thru it in zero degree weather?

not saying it couldn't happen, but that would be a worse case. the main goal is to not blow a big hole infront of the clutch. this allows all the snow in on the belt, the sled becomes immobile

Yes, it sits just above the noise dampening foam on bottom of the pan. You could squash it and rivet if you preferred.

Just curious why you'd want to do that instead?

I'm just concerned about any additional stress on the bolt (more so the caliper) if the belt would blow. I guess if I chose to not use that mounting location I could cut off that tab, but you do bring up a good point about the foam. Besides my concern about mounting location they Look like a great piece and thanks for working with Canadians with a crappy dollar, and giving us a break.
I'm sure I'll be getting one of these, I'm just waiting for you to hopefully produce some chaincase and brake rotor and even equast guard would be cool so I can bundle the hole thing together.

hibshman25, Thanks for your hard work in creating some trick pieces to make our sleds better.
