Belt removal tool

Could you expand on the secondary adjustments needed?
Well the rollers are soft and guys are getting flat spots on them. Secondary spring could be binding? IMO the helix could POSSIBLY use a higher finish rate on it.. Adjustments > watch your rollers or replace them with better ones. Watch your springs for rub marks
The PRIMARY weights have to flat of a profile. Its been posted gains are being made with aggressive profile(more curve, banana shaped) primary weights . . Daltons, Heavy hitters, Hurricane, Supertips.. These all have similar profiles>>>> curved instead of flat like the stock weights

Is it decent stock? YES . just these things are being seen and you have to realize that these issues are posted by guys that are VERY particular and observant.. With that being said. Some of the above things will cause blown belts IMO.. Especially the secondary issues

**remove the metal washer on the OSP unit which is used for belt removal and store in your tool bag**

Why are you suggesting removing the washer? Don't think I understand - I maybe wrong but belts don't seem to be breaking because of the static float?

It is his sight, but does not appear to be loading on much for the winders yet,he is real active on FB which I hate, but call him and speak to one on one may be a better choice.
He has them because I received mine today. I called him and he said he hasn't put them on site yet but he has them in stock

Or Thunder Products , I like his the best
I just watched the thunder vid again, they install the lg. heavy way bigger than it needs to be, washer once they set up the plug, than they put it back in,so whenever you want to open up your clutch to remove belt you can.

Are you saying they use the big washer to remove the belt and then take it off? I notice the bolt they screw in to upen the clutch is going to dig the cap out of the secondary without the washer there.

Which ever one you buy,has a steel washer so you don't gouge up the soft aluminum helix, when pressing on it to open the sheeve,to remove the belt, once done with belt removal, leave the washer in place,no need to remove and have to keep going thru removing center bolt, just remove the allen cap bolt and put that back away.

I have the thunder products tool. They say not to use the washer in the instructions for the sidewinder. Not a big fan of gauging the aluminum, only makes sense to use the washer. Unless I'm missing something?

you can use the washer for belt removal but DO NOT LEAVE IT IN ON THE SIDEWINDER AS BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN AND HAVE.

This should help clear things up.. Aluminum threads/ steel washer rotating very fast.. open and closing of clutch. I do not like posting these kind of pics BUT guys need a visual of what's happening
