Looking for a better set up for 2006 vector. Was looking a bergstrom triple points with shims and ski savers or getting new tuner skis. Mostly concerned about darting and trail riding. Anyone have any positives or negatives with these set ups? Also, anyone just get shims with stock ski or tuners that helped darting?
Shimming the skis helps a lot with darting. The Bergstrom Triples are decent. If you are willing to spend the money on the Tuners I would steer you towards Snowtrackers.
Eliminates darting, easier to steer and have excellent bite in the corners
I feel Tuners are good on hard packed trails and will get rid of your darting, but what I don't like about them is in powder or loose trail conditions, they will somewhat float on you in the corners. Hope this helps, just my 2-cents worth
