Last year I waited a LONG time for my triple points. He kept telling me his shipment was stolen etc. After too long I ordered a set of slydogs for the wife and cancelled my order.

He might put out a great product, however he had excuses when I ordered runners from him as well. His excuse for me was that he was awaiting his carbide order from the manufacturer, used it twice on me.
For me, it took over 5 weeks from order time to my door, despite his assurance of only 2 weeks.
Just do a search on Bergstrom in the past, many have been given the same treatment.
The best time to order them is in the off season.
I just wish he would be straight up and honest with people when he gives you a delivery time, instead of feeding you a line.

I have found that getting Scott on the phone is hit or miss. However once you get him on the phone he will give you as much of his time as you want. E-mail seems to be the best way to contact him.
I also had to wait a while last year for my triple points when his carbide shipment was stolen. Then there was a billing error which took a little while to resolve, but in the end he took care of it plus gave me a little extra back for my trouble.
Bottom line is that he may be a little hard to contact but I believe that he is a stand up guy and he certainly has a great product. My 8" triple points with shims & ski savers completely solved my darting issues and they corner like I am on rails. 1800 miles with plenty of dirt, rocks, gravel, concrete, asphalt and they honestly look almost new!

I had a hard time getting in touch with Scott recently. I ended up sending him an email. He responded to it right away with a good time to reach him via the phone. Got him on the phone the next day and ordered up a set of triple points. I have a set on my Attak which look like new after about 1500 miles of use. I figured I would get a set to keep on hand before the snow season starts and he gets real busy. Great product, worth the wait!

I had great luck with him last year. I needed my stuff in like a week and made it happen for me.

Received my 8 inch triple points 2 weeks ago ordered in August. Great products, great guy & very honest. Stuff did happen to him last year like stolen carbide shipment that screwed delivery up. Use email & your order will be booked then Scott will call you verify order get cc number & deliver. Scott is hard worker & doing as much as he can to service customers. Sure you can purchase something else but won't perform or wear as well as triple points or his standard Bergstrom carbides. Worth the wait ...keep trying. I have cell number but asked to not share. Hang in there Scott WILL call & give you all the time you need +some more.

I agree...Scott is a stand up guy. I have spoken and dealt with him on a few occasions and his products are top notch and work. I once had a broken triple point that was blamed on a bad weld...he sent out a new pair as I sent back the originals. No question on his customer service, trust and product backing.

No argument about Scott, has always been fair and willing to discuss problems and resolutions.
Just haven't heard back from emails or able to reach by phone. Suspected he is super busy as usual. Thought something might have happened to disrupt business. Having carbides stolen would certainly be a big problem.
Thanks for all the replies.---Jim

I found the wait to be well worth it.
I put 6 inch triples with the ski savers and shims and it is a night and day improvement.

I gave my stock Viper skiis to my riding partner that owned a Venture 700. I now own that sled, and when I checked the carbides at purchase time last year, the carbide was still completely intact. With OVER 9,000 miles on them. The triples are all I run. And I just follow Scott's setup advice. NEVER had anything but success doing this. PLUS, he's right on my way home from work LOL!!
