Ok so as some of you may know I finally dialled in my rxwarrior
and ran a full 85 mile trail test .... So with all this new found power
Traction and suspension .... I blew, wait .........destroyed my belt.
So my question is ... What to buy.. I have always used the stock yamaha belt
And it worked great but now I have gone fron 5-6 lbs boost to 9-13 lbs
So I'm not sure if there is something better or not?????
Any ideas....

Thanks in advance

Barry

I am running 17 lbs at 7,000 feet and have been running the stock belt. I have a little over 3,000 miles on the sled and still on the original belt...............

Stock belt, nothing better. I've got 2 seasons on mine trail riding at 14 lbs.

I have the same machine with different turbo. Almost 17000 miles on it and have run 10 to 12 lbs of boost with controller. Stock belt is the best. Only time I've blown a belt on the turbo is when my clutching was not spot on, so check your clutching.

Stock belt at 22 lbs on my RX-1 the belt.
I do not blow belts.

Check Your clutches for parallellity.
It you blow belts you engine is most likely not parallell With Your Jack shaft.
Check With a Yamaha Clutch tool straight edge.
And adjust engine using the adjustment on the front mounting Points.
If Your engine needs to og to the right:
- remove engine bolts up front
- loosen the engine adjuster a little on the right hand side
- tighten the adjuster on the left hand side.
Keep adjusting in small increments until the primary and secondary sheaves are in parallell.
