Nice to see this improvement is possible. So do you notice an improvement in how it cranks over, etc?

thanks,

seems to be a little quicker on first start up. noticed it doesn't lose the power when holding the key on for 10 seconds.
mine would crank over slower if i held the key on for more than 6 seconds.
i suppose it may have just been a worn out battery & needed replaced. now i just have a little more "ummpf".

also, when i go to restart after fueling or eats, she fires on the 1st crank.

i'll look into an even bigger cca battery once this gives up the ghost now that i know a bigger battery fits.

I did the same thing to my 06 Vector. The new battery is rated at 330 CCA. The battery box had 2 tabs on the bottom to keep the battery centered in the box, but the box itself is the right size for this battery if you bend the tabs down flat. I modified the battery cover to keep the positive terminal covered. And the new battery is just slightly taller, but if you connect the terminals to the side as shown, there is plenty of room above the battery for the air box and in front of battery. It is a very easy mod on the Vector.
