Black Mark On Top Of Primary

Same here...

I tip sled sideways and get snow under the track, then try to slam it down on top of the snow you just pushed under the track. Then walk the sled out using bunji and low power

You know that is what we do as we did that when you were out here. When it is not as warm as it was when you were here the steep angle of the tunnel forces powder snow in the heat exchanger and causes a "lock" on the track where you have to pin it to clear or simply put in reverse to pop it out.

Good to know, thanks Stingray

Somebody you know who came out west to ride for a while thought his clutch had a problem because after he got stuck and it sat while he was digging it would freeze lock and not take off. Passed this off to him on the reverse and no more locks. Probably just a powder snow thing if it has not happened to you

EDIT: It was pointed out to me this might only happen to those of us with 2.6 lug tracks or larger.

Waiting to see what the belt manufacture is going to do before I name them but the 8DN is all that will be going on my turbo sleds. Got stuck and burned the belt like countless other times with the 8DN and this happened. Yes I abused the belt but no more than I do the 8DN. Please note this belt was put on at the start of the day.

Hard to see in pics but grooves in the clutches I assume caused by the Kevlar belt. I put 8DN on and rode it out, oddly enough it didn't seem to shift much different.

Yeah that looks like the belt's fault for sure

As I said I burned the belt, that shouldn't cut a groove in the clutch. The bulk of the black marks came from the 8DN running across the sharp edges of the groove on the return trip
