Black plastic Push rivets?AIRBOX

These are the flush rivets that are around the taillight/muffler housing and in the engine. I have now broken 3 of them-Can I get these from Yamaha? Should they be breaking this easily?
Also, anyone who has removed the bottom of the airbox-any advice? I am really struggling to get it out of there. THANKS everyone-this forum is a big help to MORONS like me!

I'm sure they are available from Yamaha, but I don't have a part number for you. You need two flathead screwdrivers, pry from both sides at the same time and you'll stop breaking them.

Local auto parts place has them and better quality, they are 8mm I think for Acura and Honda.

I've busted plenty of those things, you can order them from any dealer or yamaha. Part # 90269-08006.

I ordered extra just in case.

Steering shaft has to be removed to get air box out. There is 2 bolts in the front of air box and 3 clamps on injectors.

ive got one of these, and to be honest they work ok if you have the room. it always seems that there is just not enough

room for them to fit. i still use a small flatbalde screwdriver. just my .02
