Tried to start up my Nytro today it died and back fired i start it once a day and ride, i believe its loaded up but what do i think took the plugs out covered in carbon im pretty sure its flooded. what to think help me out!!

:o| :o| :o| :o| :o| :die

Make sure you don't touch the throttle with the choke on full.....The first ride last year I cracked the gas with the choke on and flooded it :o| :o| It's the only time its happened :yam:

And another thing to get in the habit of:when you first start it cold start pushing in on choke lever not so much that it's going to stall the engine, but don't let it idle with the choke on if it don't need to be.Since i started doing this iv'e never flooded it again.

How about the throttle override?? should i try i mean its turnen over and when it does it doesnt wanna start it just backfires and does nothen idk??

I would think you would have known what a set of plugs cost by now. I've rode since 1971 and always carried a set of extra plugs. I bought a box for my sleds at snow show time for around $45 and that was before I got my sleds delivered. Plugs are like slides and carbides just maintance items.

S Plugs

What Captain Toyota said. You need to bring it up to temp before you shut it off. Put new plugs in it.

New plugs should do it. Set me back a little over 4.00 apiece! These will foul plugs if you start it repeatedly for very short periods. I have to replace the plugs every time I get my sled back from the dealer.
