With everyone changing offset now, I wanted to show you how to compensate for the changes with my belt adjuster. You may have to supply different sized washers to get the optimum setting.

In simple terms with adjuster backed out against large washer:

If no gap between buttons and helix...…….add thickness to the washer stack

If gap between buttons and helix is greater than 1/8".....remove thickness from the washer stack

I will also work on another video to show you how you can also fix float to a set amount with my adjuster as well. The adjuster design is quite versatile and easily accommodates this if one desires.

So travis,we don't need to remove any from the stock SW plug, just add washers on outside of large washer, will that still keep the adverse amount of float? I want mine solid like I used to run my ape. Did you get the package I returned to you?

You need to do what many of us are doing to reduce/remove float. All in my build thread with pics of the BOP setup.

You need a 1-3/8"(35mm)OD x 10mm washer.

Hi dan,i am a little confused, you are not running travis new belt adjuster, and I just bought his,i would like to run it,and still be able to adjust for different belt lengths on side of trail if need be,and run it solid no float.

No not this one,the last one I saw Dan was the latest one you did with the stock set up,and you used old style shims to set deflection, and no float. I do think the no float once aligned up properly is the way to go. Dan this plug and large washer, that bumps up to your stock plug, did you remove any material from the stock plug? I always have a hard time finding peoples threds in the search box,not sure why?

Man I totally missed that one Dan,and I am not even drinking,oh well does eggnog count, and it is not spiked lol.. Thanks Dan

Anyway the video can be put back. I never got to see it before it disappeared right away ?

Not sure what happened to it. Was last year when I posted that.

Basically if you machine the back side of the secondary you need to remove thickness from the washer stack I provide with the adjuster.
