Does it rattle when you're driving? Or just when you shake it by hand?
Its supposed to be loose.

I have an odd issue with mine too.
My parking brake pads keep wearing out. I noticed my brake rotor is also fairly loose and I'm guessing it hits the parking brake pads every now and then.
The wear rate has been getting worse. Right now a new set of parking brake pads will probably last about 3500 miles (if I regularly tighten the cable just enough to hold my sled on my trailer when tilted).
Is this typical or are there some shims available to tighten up the rotor/jack shaft slop?
(and no - I haven't accidently left the parking brake on while riding...)
