Has anyone used fog or off-road lights to get more head light? Last wknd i was riding in gaylord, when i was riding at night when it was snowing and dust from the sled in front, I was only able to see a few feet ahead of me. It was kinda like i was over driving the head lights, So i was thinking of adding some extra light. but my only problem is i dont know where to mount them or what size and wattage to use, I eather want to make them low profile and kinda hidden, or have them showed off. But what i dont want are those big a** baja style lights. I want to stay with small or euro style lights. So give me your 2cents on this. and dont be shy show your pix.

I though about the small piaa lights myself since mine are always either too high looking for UFO's or aimed right at the ground in front of me.

put the xenon h-4 bulbs with the blue tint on them in. had them on my last 3 sleds and they work awsome for snow dust.
Either do what maim said or have all of your friends you ride with get some LED lights for the back of their helmet. These things work un believable especially in snow dust conditions. They just stick on back of helmet and either blink or stay on constant. You can see them alot further away than having more bright lights lighting up the dust in front of you. Kind of like following a tail light when its hard to see.

We got the LED's on the back of the helmets already they are awesome, it's something to help me seeing in the dark that I need. You can way over drive the headlights on these machines. Night vision in the helmet would be nice!

Not trying to be Captain Obvious here, but how about just increasing the distance between sleds? Probably the safest countermeasure?

Well I ride by myself alot so there are no other sleds around. The problem is my high beams are to high and my low beams are too low and I can't find that happy medium with adjustments it would help to have something fill the gap between the two.

I put Sylvania Silverstar bulbs in my Attak. A search on them here will get you info on the part numbers, etc. Significant difference from the stock bulbs for just over $30. An excellent upgrade. They're easy to find as well. I got mine at the local Wal-Mart.

- None, looking now!
I'll post pics and how I wired early next week. I'm leaving for a 3 day ride today, so when I have my sled in the shop cleaning it Monday, I'll snap off a few pics.
