Okay I'm lost ... How are you able to locate the fuel tank over the turbo and run your fresh air intake right through it? I'm obviously missing something in those photos.
in these last pictures it looks like the rear mount of the running board is going past the steel reeinforcment plate that the orgiginal boards attach to.. Where are you attaching these and is it stable enough? The work looks impressive but Im wondering if it might be easier just to start from scratch with the running boards? It's definitly a mod I'd like to do (as I also feel I could use something more extreme than my betterboards witch help alot but not in the real deep and they are to wide so the sled hangs up too easily on them) but wont hav ethe time this winter so might be for next season.

well the sled is not done lol ... you are right the running board are not even reveted in yet i need to weld in a plate in the bumper to attach it i had to make a turbo set up for a buddy so lost build time on this and for the fuel its easy i cut the bottom of the stock tank to make a cover for the turbo and still make it look like it should be there i hate looking at stuff that doesent fit together next week i should have time to make my fuel cell that will be where the turbo used to sit under the seat .... and no its was easyer buyibg running board .. did not have to wait for aluminium and wast a bunch of time making a jig and all the #*$&@ tha goes along and i did want them to be longuer i hated side hilling the phazer because i couldnt get my feet past the pivote point .... no i will be able too
