I heard trails are open but wanted some real info from a trusted source!
Wanting to unload in Hayward or Cable then head Northeast towards Hurley.
We need to do some testing before the I-500 & we don't have ride able snow yet here.

Headed to Cable Sunday-Thursday. Thought they were going to get blasted with snow...now it looks like rain, freezing rain, and 3" of snow :-(
Anyone in that area? Trail conditions?

My brother just got back from there today. He said there is crazy snow there! They were breaking trail all day from Grand view to Iron River to Cable, said it was awesome and they are out grooming the trails now! I can't wait we are heading up there wednesday night. Have fun conditions should be bomb! I heard trail markers are supposed to go up on Lake Namakagon towards the end of this week

Just got back from 3 days of riding. Awesome!
Namakagon is not staked yet - lots of slush under the snow from the Christmas rain. Also not groomed all the way to Clam Lake because the swamp isn't froze.
Good news - suppose to be colder than crap tonight/tomorrow. That'll make lots of ice.

They were staked the lake on New Years Eve day , tha flowage was staked as well , Lake Owen was not ( suprise , suprise ) . All the trails we were on were in great shape , pretty neat with all the snow still on the trees up by Grandveiw !! Doc
