Cadillac MI has snow and is Grooming

unfortunately, the groomer is "plowing" the trail down. No way should it be groomed this early. It ruins the trail.

I was in Cadillac on Thursday mid day and there was on a couple inches of snow. I quess it really picked up.

I heard that Gaylord had a foot on the ground.

There is no way there is 12" of snow in Gaylord. Too much wishfull thinking. Here is a snow cam image from today in Gaylord.

Cadillac has snow, and the groomers are out. I think I'll go to Lost Pines tomorrow.

LOL, i think they are panning the trails. From what I have heard Cadillac hasn't signed the grooming contract with the DNR yet. I will be up there next weekend depending on snow.

check it out.

Ya I know Rick really well, he tends to exaggerate the facts sometime. He usually gives me a pretty accurate report. I will make a few phone calls today and see what the trails are really like. My buddy just bought a Dragon so I am sure he probably took it out for a rip!

That guys camera is located somewhere out by wilderness valley. I see it on John Dee like you. All I can tell you is in that cam on John Dee is at least a 15 minute drive south of My house in Gaylord. We are getting great snow. I went to Traverse City christmas shopping with the family on Saturday and Kalkaska to Alba didn't have much for snow either. As of this morning I might have 15 to 20 inches in My yard. Seems like I'm plowing snow every morning.

I posted a thread in the maps and gps section, thought I would ask the question here too. Does anyone know how to link these trails to the rest of the northern lower trails, T.C., Gaylord, Houghton Lake?
