California Custom Purple Metal Polish

I heard about it through a buddy. You get much better results than you do with Mothers and there is no work invloved! (LB you might be interested) So I was curious and tried it out last night. You just put it on a cloth and rub on the aluminum until you see black stuff. Get a dry cloth and wipe and BAM...Super Shiny. I did half a running board in about 2 mins and it looked better than anything I have ever used before. I also bought the Aluminum Oxidizer which I will use on my rails. The best thing about it is it leaves a protective coating so that the shine lasts longer.

I don't have shares and NO I don't work for the company. Actually for anyone in Canada...there is only a few places that have it and I ordered mine from a trucking place in Saskatchewan. Call the company and they can tell you where to find it.

I don't remember what I paid.. . I bought the Purple Polish and Oxidizer for $49 shipped to my door. Shipping probably cost me $10.

What does the oxidizer do? I just called on it, and found out there are a couple of places around me that carry it. The guy was great on the phone. Before I even tried ordering, he asked me where I live to save on shipping. One question, do you guys use a fine sand paper before you put on Mothers or whatever polish you're using?, or do you just start polishing with the metal polish? I love that 'chrome' look

Yeah in Canada there was nothing closer to me than Sask. that actually shipped out. The de-oxidizer is just like a pre-treatment for aluminum that is "oxidized"...white susbtance on the aluminum. It just makes the polish work better. The de-ox is a water like liquid that you put on before. You then rub the Purple stuff on and wipe away. I will be doing my entire sled over the next few weeks so I will post some Before/After shots.

PS. Never used sandpaper before Mothers. Again. With this stuff it comes out like a mirror.

If it works they way it says it sure would be nice to have a sled that looks like BBY. His sled is awesome and if it only takes a few hours with this product to do your whole sled then I am in.
