cam arm rivets/weights

I have changed arms springs helix etc. before. and I'm familiar with adjustable weights like TP . My question is when you guys talk about changing the rivets in the stock style arms how is this accomplished ? Do you drill the old one out with a drill press and the new "rivet" is installed by clamping down in a vise or press ?

grind rivet head flush to weight punch out and yes I used a vise to compress new rivets
