Hello fellow Phazerites!......I'm looking to replace my stock 1" Hack-Saw track to the 1.5" Freeride. I'm running the stock 121" skid. I see several people using this and I wondered what you all thought. I want to stud as well with a 96 stud pattern. I'm running in the northeast so I have hills, fields, woods and everything in between. Any body using this set up can you let me know how you like it? Thanks in advance!

Works great! One of the best things you can do for the sled IMHO.

they throw ice cube size chunks off the back if thats what your into,
I upgraded to the Free ride last year. Or maybe it was the year before? Hah. Anyway, as Motoman said, I believe it is the best thing you could do for this sled. The extra traction almost makes it feel like a new sled.

I ride central VT same type trails it should work well along with the other mods you have done
I am in the middle on this one.I love the traction but I kind of miss the old track when I want to slide the backend out in a corner.Unless ice its almost impossible with Freeride.

best upgrade you can make - change the skis too.

Yeah I found that out too. After I changed the track I had a lot more traction and it started pushing the skis a lot worse in the corners. I switched to C & A pro skis and that issue went away. Then the handling was much more even between front and back. As far as turning, braking and acceleration went.

Thanks for all the feedback! I just placed the order today (with studs and double backers) and think I've made a good choice! See you on the trails......or should I say?....."Pass you on the trails"!!
