I went from a rzr-s to a 950 zforce and it's night and day difference way better then the gen 2 came out now a z-10 turbo wow, hats off to cfmotoI got a chance to look over the New CFmoto machines. I was totally bummed that they scrapped the SXS test track for a pit area for the mud runs. That being said, the mud runs were fun to watch and drew bigger crowds than the grass drags.

Yikes. I have been saying Polaris build quality is garbage for a while now but when the "KIA" of the class passes you it really shows how far they have fallen.Yes absolutly
I don't like anything Polaris builds, it all looks like cheap junk to me.

There's a bolt on intercooler kit in the works with an estimated 212hpA 998 @ 140HP with a turbo is anemic, its under performing for the potential airflow. An NA 998 can create 140HP safely. The only reason to limit it to that is EPA regulations but Polaris has 180HP machines so.. it is likely design limitations.
Interesting though is the relationship between Yamaha and one of its manufacturing partners who are also related to CFMoto.
Yama- moto
I see yamaha and cf-moto are looking to join together in China, maybe they will build a sled together.ty4stroke.com
Best case, it is a deal cut with Yamaha but limited in HP for some reason (to make room for a HO version?), worst case its a clone, middle ground is that is an in house design. Lets hope it can take some boost.

An intercooler should not make more power, it can only help you make power longer. If the intercooler is actually making more power then its a restriction in airflow, in thise case a huge one.
No doubt that the aftermarket will find solutions but 60HP is a big change and much larger demand for fuel, not to mention tuning the entire exhaust system. The question is never whether or not you can make power, its about how dependable it is at a given power output. That has always been the strength of the Japanese manufacturers. I hope we see CFMoto making big strides in the power department and I hope the chassis on these things holds up. I had a good look at the product line at a recent event and they look beefy, time will tell how beefy they really are.

This is a Bolt on kit from cfmoto with a mild tune and a actual bolt on alternator for more accessoriesAn intercooler should not make more power, it can only help you make power longer. If the intercooler is actually making more power then its a restriction in airflow, in thise case a huge one.

Did you see cfmoto's new 4 cylinder the D.04 producing North of 210hp at 14500rpmAn intercooler should not make more power, it can only help you make power longer. If the intercooler is actually making more power then its a restriction in airflow, in thise case a huge one.

Did not. my comment was not about whether or not they could get there, they should in fact be able to create the kind of HP given the displacement and a turbo. My point was that an intercooler exists simply to help maintain air mass by cooling the air (making it more dense) as it enters the throttle body. An intercooler alone does not raise HP, it requires parallel increases in available fuel, fuel management, possibly map sensors etc.. To go from 140HP to over 200 is a 45% increase in power. Maybe the everything is already there but it seems short sighted to stop at 143HP if the guts are there to go to a more competitive 180HP with little risk or cost. 14,500 RPM is stratospheric and it would be competitive with the best of the superbikes if it is usable power. I wonder if they are using a desmo valve assembly.Did you see cfmoto's new 4 cylinder the D.04 producing North of 210hp at 14500rpm
