Wondering if the sight glass gets cloudy and can't see the oil level.
Had mine topped up at the dealer and could see the level when I took it home but now can't see anything. Tip it 90 degrees each way on its side and still see nothing. No oil to see leaking anywhere. Only have 2 rides on the thing. Hope it's not leaked out already!!

It's lever on here on the shed floor and still can't see a thing. Not a sign of oil anywhere at all.
May have to take the reverse actuator off to check for sure. Think there would be some oil visible somewhere of leaking.
Is it big deal to take that actuator off?

Before I take the actuator off I should ask if the oil is visible from the hole or can I stick something in the hole to check the level?
The sight glass don't seem clear so wondering if it's clouded so that I can't see the oil?

No.
First I would make sure its level and you haven't recently drove it. The oil in the chain case is picky with the site glass. The original oil is a clouding looking brown. If your at least a .25 to .5 up the site glass your fine if not add small amount if its not real low it wont take much. If its that low I would check to make sure its not leaking.

The oil in the chain case should be halfway up the sightglass that's what the manual says, when I picked mine up last year the oil was above the sightglass overfilled at the factory. My brother has the exact same sled and his oil was right on.

Anyway, got it figured out. It's full above the sight glass. What I was looking at was the cloudy oil.
I ran it on a stand and watched the sight glass and notice the lower level when running.
Man...I tipped it left and right, jacked it on the front and lifted the rear to try and see the oil level and no change.
The oil is cloudy and a bit shiny but I'm not real concerned with it as it's the original oil and will soon be changed in the next 300 kms in the first service.
The only time I looked at the sight glass was before and after the first ride with new oil. I was thinking the dirty oil may have muddied up the glass.
I can see now that it's no trouble to see right into the chain case through the sight glass even with dirty oil.
Man I feel dumb....relieved but dumb!!!

Mine was low when I got it from the dealer, brought it back and had it topped up. It was then a little above half. Dunno what's up with that.
