Questions for those who have replaced your chain case:
I'm updating mine to the 2017/Sidewinder version & noticed that they use 6 self tapping screws. What is the proper way to drive those screws into the case? Did you use a hex bit impact driver (with a torx bit, of course), or did you drive them in by hand? How do you make sure that they drive in straight? Did you use lube?
Thanks!

If your speaking of the screws that hold the oil tank to the back half of the chain case, I always use a torque bit in a socket wrench. I know a lot of people on here have changed them over to a standard bolt head to get away from the torque heads. I still run the torque heads in mine I usually just clean the threads off before running them back in.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm talking about the inner half of the chain case that is attached to the tunnel with self tapping torx screws. A new chain case has six untapped holes on the back side, plus a few thru holes.
