Check for an update on ECU?

I do my own oil changes but when I'm at the dealer they will run the VIN to see if there are any required/optional updates. You could probably call your dealer with your VIN and have them do this. I usually just give them my name and they look it up and let me know right there and it only takes but a minute. They should be able to tell you if the ECU update was done based on their records, but if it's optional it they may not have done it pre-delivery.
