Yea we worked on them since 11AM this morning and it's 9:15PM and we just finished up!!!!!

Like the silver a lot! Great gob! What kind of paint u use? I want to try to match the siver on the exaust covers!

The silver is: Krylon XMetals Metallic Base Coat got it at KMart and the black is done with a paintbrush.

I was actually thinking of something like that myself. I felt the solid red was to much. Now, I know what I want, and them are it. Great job. Thanks for the visual.

I have the red Apex ER, thinking that black fins over the silver might look good (or even silver over the black to cut down on the silver vent a bit).

its alot easier to spray the whole vent with the color you want the fins, then i went to a craft store(Micheals) and got black outdoor paint and a small paint brush and painted the background black... the rtx we taped off and sprayed and it took 3hrs of just taping!!

When I taped off my PowerMad handguards it seemed to take forever!!
I just got the mirrors for them a couple of days ago and started masking them last nite. Little strips of tape 1/8" x 2" long, 1hour later done. Final result is all that matters!!!
