Had the xtx out on the weekend and when i tried to fire it up sunday morning to take it home it would not start. I replaced the relays with the red solid state ones last year after the fuel pump relay froze. I could hear the starter solenoid clicking but it wouldn't start. Just wondering if the stater solenoid could have ice in it preventing it from completing the circuit or if there is something else i should be looking at? let hear some idea's.

Probably your starter. Try boosting it first. If that doesnt work jump the posts on the solenoid, if the starter cranks you need a new solenoid. If it doesnt the starter crapped out.

try jumping the relay by the battery with a screw driver. They get moisture in them and corrode.

Is it clicking at the relay just over from the battery, or is it clicking up front deep in the bowels where the starter is? If it's at the relay, do as MrSled says, if it's down by the starter, it may be that your battery voltage is not 100 per cent, either loose or dirty terminals, or time for a new battery. I had a battery that showed fully charged after 10 minutes of putting a charger on it, but would not start. Turns out 93 percent voltage was not enough to activate everything.

It's clicking by the relay just over from the battery. I had it in the heated shop for the day and it started. I ordered a new starter relay today because I noticed some corrosion on the terminals. Hopfully that is the issue

It was the solenoid. Put a new one in and no problem after that
