Does anyone know of a solution to this clutch rattle? Do any of the aftermarket clutch kits quiet down these noisy clutches. Not so bad wearing my BRP Modulaire, but in my CKX Titan backcountry helmet style the noise is almost unbearably aggravating at trail speed. My buddy has a 2014 Viper and his clutches are dead quiet

I haven't really looked at the primary on the sidewinder. However for the vipers, you can purchase shims for the roller bolts to quiet them down.

The rattle comes from the tiny bit ofPlay between the stub shaft blinds and the splines on the end of the crankshaft. The fix is to Paul the stub shaft and use the green bearing retainer Loctite. The stub shaft will still be able to be pulled later if need be.

Finished up maintenance on my sidewinder. I ran the motor a bit to get oil circulating and check for leaks. I didn’t have the primary on the crank and I was just amazed how smooth this motor sounds. No more diesel. It’s just amazing how bad the primary rattles. You guys with aftermarket primaries do they rattle like the oem ones?

If you don't want to spring for a TAPP, the new ADAPT clutch has been a good unit in the field.
