I'm sure it's been spoke of, I found that the stock 2018 clutch weights to be at 65 grams. I have the TD Powertrail tune and CAI, a helix from a fellow builder, not sure of angle, and a new spring for the primary. Suppose to spool up the turbo big time....I'm going to install my Dalton weights set to 78 grams for the initial setting...any input other than the helix info and spring? I can take pics of the parts....thanks

Well, checked back here a few times in the past 8-9 hours, no comments. Only one day off to getter done. Helix installed, reverse helix, bought from sidewinder forum on face book helix angle wasn't given. Dalton weights as I stated. Turbo Dynamic Powertrail tune, 270 horse with the turbo force muffler....went from 65 grams to 78 on the weights...129" studding this Summer. My pics of components won't load, sez their too big...

What I do is email my pics to my email account, when it prompts me I choose —>> I choose medium size photos and then save them/download them for email account. I take those photos to upload on TY4stroke

My son helped me out....thanks for the tip

yep stock bov - weve tested the stockers, they dont start leaking till over 18 pounds and then its just a tiny little bit - i like running stock items when possible - its a trail set up and i need reliability. yamaha oem stuff is hard to beat. most of the time. but everything thats cat on this thing needs to be checked - we took apart my buddys chain case to upgrade it this weekend - the 2 nuts that hold frame member to chassis behing pipe,,, were so loose - nylocs wernt used yet, they were never tightened - the entire spar assembly was loose - arctic cat needs to do some serious changing of the guards..... CHECK ALL YOUR BOLTS, HOSES, EVERTHING THEY DOO.... if the bolts in your hand - loctite it... red.

Get in touch with Ben at Turbo Dynamics,he will fill you in on the clutching and gearing. What you described should be close to 275 hp from TD he likes stock 35 and maybe Dalton blk/org secondary wrapped to 70 degrees 6-1 and of course Dalton ramps come different base weight, see what it is stamped on side of ramp, and get a set of gram scales, and weigh base weight to see where it starts at empty, and add set screws from there. They are .7 1.5 2.0 and up,you can add 7 grams to whatever base weight you started at. Unless you have a set up from someone who has your set up,start light and add as you go. The blue/blk spring you have,i have run,its ok,but does have higher engagement than I like for tight trail riding,i like something with a 30-40 start and finish around 120-131 for shift on stock 35 helix.

Nice bit of info there, thanks. This is my first new sled, truly a learning process....everything bought in the past was already done.
