I think with a hell of a good rider, the vector powerplant would compete well against them all.

Well the 440 class is gone after this season and there will be the 600 and 600 mod. class there is no reason why the vector could not compete in that class. For the mod. class through a turbo or super charger in it and there would be no stopping yamaha. Time will tell to see which way the WSA will go.

In Japanese Sno-X, vectors have been dominating this season. Swept last race and have points lead in championship. In N.A., its only a matter of time

True, but the tracks in Japan are more natural terrain (much like AMA Nationals outdoor MX), whereas the stuff the WSA does is pretty tight and technical.
Jesse Strege raced a modded Nytro at the Eagle River sno-x and didnt do all that well.
The FX chassis might have some potential for sno-x though. If they could keep the weight down and come up with a 110 hp 600 twin, thatd be interesting.
