Has anyone completely removed the tunnel and had it powder coated? From what I can tell, and based on pictures I have seen, it would seem this could be done without too much trouble? Remove a few bolts, and drill out a few rivets?

I have completely removed the tunnel (but did not have it powdercoated), and you are correct...everything unbolts with the exception of where the heat exchanger is connected to the tunnel, and of course the snow flap. There are 6-8 rivets that need to be drilled out for the heat exchanger, but they are right on top & easy to get to.
