I have been trying to contact Bergstrom to order a set of ski savers and a set of triple point carbides. I have called them 3 times a day for the past week and all I get is a busy signal. I have sent them email as per their website with no response. Did they go out of business or just have lousy customer service??? What a terrible way to run a business.

Has anyone had any luck in contacting them?

I havn't heard that he is out. I know when I ordered mine, he said it will be a while. I did receive them-I think they are made as needed. It is kind of odd that he hasn't responded. Hopefully nothing happened. As for the services, I was treated very good.

Scott is a very small, one man operation. He has excellent customer service, but yes, he is hard to reach. His stuff is worth it though!! If you need to get in touch with him send a pm to Viper_Dave. He is very close to him and may be able to help ya out.

He is there I spoke with him today ! He is a great guy who awnsers the phone himself. Keep trying he will take care of you once you reach him.

I have a new set I keep for spares I could send you, let me know. I only live 3 miles from Bergstrom's shop.

Just wondering what kind of material these ski savers are made from?
It looks like a rather straightforward design and I was thinking about making a set from teflon. I see some people have homemade ones listed in their updates but don't say what material is used. What do you think?

Tks,

There is Scott & Scott & his other brother Scott. Keep trying will be worth it when you connect & Scott & Scott & his other brother Scott will treat you like you are his only customer. Best carbides made bar none.

Tks,

I've made a pair out of old sliders. They last a long time.

I keep trying everyday, 3X a day, no luck. At this rate h'll probably answer the phone when the season slows down in April!!! I'll keep trying, all I want to do is buy some of his products. He needs to hire someone to handle the orders I have heard nothing but good things about him and his product!!!!

get a hold of Bruce at www.cbperformanceparts.com his carbides are just as good, just not tripple point, but they work

I've just gone through 2 pairs of CB carbides in 200km, yes, 2 pairs. They just shattered apart. I think the carbide they use are too brittle.
Even when new, they looked like there were hairline cracks throughout them. They fixed me up with a replacement set, but I have since changed skis and can't try them at this time.

I just put a set of Studboy shapers on my C&A skis and after 400km, they look perfect, no chips, chunk outs or extreme wear, and the conditions and trails were the same as the CBs.

If you're having that much trouble getting a hold of Bergstrom, why should he warrant your purchase? And how much time will it take for him to ship it out? Sure, these runners may be a great performer, but what good are they if he ships them to you in March?
