I have removed my EXUP on my apex xtx 2011
I install headers in stanless 4In one homemade in quebec
map with the original map and pcv ulmer
switch with 2 map
muffler modify less restruction
but good to say best performance at all rpm
very good acceleration
less heat to the engine and muffler
not be afraid to change to remove the exup system
when a company will manufacture headers
3000 km test now very satisfied a little noisier than before noisy as the old apex
excuse my English my native language is French

I HAVE AN 04 WARRIOR (original owner) WITH 16K MILES MY EXHAUST BROKE TWICE THROUGH THE YEARS AT THE CROSSOVER IN DIFFERENT SPOTS (STAINLESS STEEL). Being a certified Welder with 30 years of experience I Heli-Arc welded it myself. I have also re- welded the W Arm in the suspension. I just purchased a 2011 Apex, brand new leftover and it looks like the exhaust is still an issue Well you can weld or have someone repair that for you
Typically when a weld is done properly it is the strongest part of a unit Here is an interesting link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkZN8st-BM8
