Stator pickup.
Do you have a manual and an ohm meter?
If you do, its easy to check. If its out of spec thats your problem

It's flashing something while I crank it. Is that indicating a code? And how do I enter the diag mode. This sled has been rock solid for 10k. Believe it or not. This is the very first issue

I see that you are a vip member. Request a manual from one of the admin's. all that info is in there. Go to the FAQ's at the top of this forum and look under error codes.

The code poped up on mine when mine went. I believe if may have been eleven for the crank sensor / stator assembly. Just try it and leave the key on and take a look at the display. Also check for chafed wires where the harness passes through the bulk head up by the voltage regulator.

Sorry code 12, also I would recommend an oem part if you need to. If you read through my below link you will see why.

x2 on the OEM stator pickup as the R.M stator one needs the holes modified to have the right clearance, oem one is plug/bolt on & play
