What fuses do you bring? What are most likely critical sizes to blow?

A couple of each. (5,10,15 amp) They are small, not heavy and can save your but. Use them when needed for important things like the starter relay, headlights etc. Even if its cold and the hand warmers quit, its nice to have them although they aren't needed to get you home.

Along with some zipties, a tow strap, an extra belt, a couple of flares, a fully charged cell phone, a flash light, a knife, a candle, extra mitts and bella, extra lens for goggles, my wallet with visa and cash, a bic lighter, a thermos with hot coffee, a 12" cresent, a pair of needle nose and regulator vise grips, 3 new plugs, my gps, spare batteries for gps and some granola bars (4 to be exact), all packed into a med. sized backpack. This is including the OEM tool kit in the nose of the machine. May sound like a bit much to some, but I travel alot of back country by myself and one day, I'm sure it may just come in handy!

As a group we figure out who has got what and try to cover most ..that way no one sled is carrying too much...when I ride alone I take it all esp. survival crap..fire starter etc.
