Cubby's Pilgrimage to North Bay....

I live in North Bay I'll let you know how the trails are mid week, we're heading over to Sudbury tomorrow so I'll have a pretty good idea after the weekend.

Thanks Deek, I look forward to your report.

SNOWDOG & Skydog-- The last time it was dynoed last year (here in Cleveland, not at Freddies) was 171 HP at 10,500 RPMs. And I have no idea what Freddie did to it, he had my sled for about 2 months. It's a sleeper and is it ever fast. It's still a great trail sled too........Cubby

so thats a non turbo putting out that kind of horse? Was that just head work and cams? What kind of dough did that cost you if you don't mind me asking. I would like to get some more ponies but I don't know if I want to go the whole turbo route. Any dependability problems?

Cubby , I have seen you sled lots of times on here but I never get sic of seeing pics .

Ummm, I paid a little over 3 grand, but this is what I wanted. A dependable, naturally asperated motor that didnt need a turbo or nitrous. Alot of Guys in here gave me sh!t because I could have almost bought a turbo for that amount but again this is what I wanted................Cubby

We got 6-7 inches friday night and the trails should be well groomed by the time you get here, we went over to sudbury, some trails were not groomed, primarily the trail from tilden lake over to crystal falls, other than that the trails were pretty good considering it was really the first weekend with good snow. The rail bed over to the sportsmans lodge in Sudbury was awesome, conditions up here will only get better. Most of the lakes around here are marked now, you'll find that the main trails within city limits will be rough just because of the amount of traffic, but as you get farther away they get pretty nice. Hope this helps, and there calling for snow this week too.

Cubby,

Have you ever done the 25 mile trip down the TOP A102Q To Temiscaming, PQ? The hills on this trail are unreal. If you hit them at the right speed you can get 30 feet of air. But if you hit them at the wrong speed, you can get 60 feet of air. We will be doing this trail Saturday if it is open. It's wicked. You'll love it.

Also, 6 of us ride with Collette 900Mhz communicators incase anyone from your group does.
