Just curious how the Curve skis work off trail. Everyone on the Snowest Forum says they are no good for powder.

I think they would know...

Our sleds are obviously very front heavy... It's not easy to find the perfect combo of trail and powder performance... That said I think I'm about to test the perfect ski for us... Mohawks

17 Thrusters from curve supposed to help a lot, I was talking to Cody from curve. Waiting on mine I'll let u know how they go, but not much snow hear.

increase your floatation as well as had additional cornering performance in the soft loose stuff,
It seems to me like most guys been putting them on SW and there a site sponsor, I can't wait to slap them on next week I hope

Thrusters look kinda Mickey mouse to me. Looking forward to the review.

I didn't want too, but broke trail in 2+ feet late last season for 10 miles or so, on my apex, and the front never went down...snow wasn't dust, but not too packy either. Worked well for me. 4 + years of curves on the apex and now on the sidewinder and I have no complaints.

as a pure mountain ski they might not work but for the average trail rider and occasional off trail rider, they work awsome. i have a set that is currently on my phazer but started out on my apex xtx. worked well on trail and off trail they kept the front bumper above the snow off trail. with stockers it would submarine bad.

I have Curves on my Attak, I'd say they are a little better than the stock skis but I know there are better for floatation. My friend has the wide Simmons Flexi Skis on his Apex XTX, they work great on and off trail.

I have heard good things on the Mohawks, I used to have SLP Powder Pros, they were great at everything. I only sold them being they were blue and did not match my red Attak.

I realize I don't have a Sidewinder but if I did I think I'd try any of the aftermarket powder type skis but see if I could get Snowtrackers to go with them to increase cornering and reduce darting. Heck maybe even try the stock SW MTX skis but get them fitted with Snowtrackers.
