Hi, I ordered a pair of Curve xs skis for the wifes 2014 MP Venture that have the original Tuner skis. I went this direction as they seem to be a popular choice for switching out the Tuner skis on the Viper snowmobiles. I also ordered the 8" triple point skegs from Scott Bergstrom and planned on shimming the skis per his recommendations. After searching this specific forum, I could not find any information using this set up. Is this a good choice? Are there better choices for the wifes sled? If so, I could use them on my viper instead, so no real loss there. I should add that my wife mostly sticks to the trails. I'm wanting her to feel safe and confident out there.

i have not heard of a set of curves on a mp yet. let us know how they work out. i love mine on my apex.

Weren't the tuners any good on the trails? Off trail they suck big time but on trail should be good with no darting. And being tuners, you can tune them with different carbides.

I can't say anything about the Curves. A first I've heard for an MP.

Overall I would say they do a good job of not darting, but the steering takes a little muscle in the tight corners. They are by no means a bad ski, I'm just hopefully looking for something to make the riding better. There are so many aftermarket skis out there making all kinds of claims that it makes the decision even harder. I believe I read on here that you prefer the powder hounds? Anyway, that's why I love this sight. You can learn so much from so many individual experiences that it makes this sport really enjoyable.

I had the Hounds. Got tired of the darting, which was really bad. I guess I could have tried triple points but in the end, went with the Camoplast All-Terrains with Double Down carbides. Happy with this combo so far. It does push a bit in corners but I wanted the extra flotation and the price was reasonable.

The Trailhounds steered great but the darting was just too much.
