Good Day
I'm looking at changing skis from ski-doo pilots to curve xs skis
Do I need the "leading edge"?
what size of carbides should I run?
anything else I should know?
Thanks

Try emailing or calling Nathan I think the leading edge does help I believe on the Nytro they just recommended a 4" carbide but I can't remember for sure

What kind or riding do you do I have curves on my Viper with the leading edge on after year 2 and really like the difference.....for trail riding off trail no difference.

The curves are great skis but I wouldn't install the leading edge option unless you find a need to reduce darting. The leading edge increases the risk of having your skis catch so run the skis for awhile without the added option then decided. These skis don't need a lot of carbide and with proper toe out setting I never had a big problem with darting. I eventually added the leading edge on a Nytro but they did very little to improve handling and I eventually had one catch bad enough to cause significant damage to the a-arms. I love the Curves but I'm not a fan of the leading edge and now I'm hearing that others are installing dual carbide wear bars on the Curves as a better option.

I just got my curves and I'm wondering what way to mount the rubbers, on curves site it reads "the same as original" but mine look the same on both sides. 2014 Nytro. I'm thinking I'll do the taller side in the rear to keep the tips up but looking for a confirmed answer.
Couldn't find much on mounting with a search and this was the most recent curve thread so I figured it was worth a shot. Thanks!

Yep...taller side to the rear is right.

dual carbide wear bars on the curve as a better option to decrease darting, or improve turning?
