Looking for opinions/thoughts on riders experience with Curve Industries XSM Skis on a Nytro XTX. I’ve read almost all the posts here about replacement skis for Nytros, but very little information on the XSM skis. I’m curious if these are the right option for me or if the XS skis are my best bet. I ride 60/40 (trail/off), I’m tired of the pushing, darting, and plowing (when off trail).

Sorry, no personal experience with the XSM but am very happy with the XS's on my XTX. I did install the Leading Edge which may also assist with darting though I never rode it without it. It does still push in the corners some, which may be a setup issue, but I considered adding the Thruster which should only help.

I have the Slydog 7" attack skis on mine and it was a huge upgrade over the stock skis! Much better flotation and turning off trail. Haven't ran them on trail just yet

The differences between the XS and XSM is minimal. I run the XS skis on my Nytro and Viper and have experience with the XSM ski on a RX1 Warrior. The Warrior is a poor sled to test the XSM skis because it's not as good off trail as a Nytro or Viper but on trail it's hard to tell that they're the mountain version. They might slightly reduce the steering effort and seemed to do well in loose conditions. I believe they'd work well on a Nytro especially if you did more off trail but with 60% on trail I'd lean more toward the XS ski. Either way I don't believe you'd be disappointed in the Curve skis.

Curve XS on my 09 XTX for past 6 yrs. Before that, stock skis, Simmons 8" dual runners then Tuners. No issues or complants w my Curves. Solid, well built skis that do fine off trail on the heavy Nytro. Trail wise, they still push some, and even with the shim mod, dart some but much better than without. I still have to ride my Nytro like my dirtbike, with a lot of body language, but with the Curves, I have more confidence that my sled is more predictable in the corners. I used to ride much more off trail, and the xs skis did just fine for flotation for me. Personally, I don't think it matters so much what skis you mount on the Nytro xtx for off trail, as much as your throttle control and track options. But for trail riding, cornering and overall build quality, I will continue with Curves for any future sleds
