Cutting track lug

I have an xtx 1.6” lug track and studded it wish I went with longer studds. (Woody’s 1.575”) Has anyone cut down the lug on there track? If so how did it hold out.

Yes we have cut down lugs many times. Works fine

Cut a few myself no issues, also had Hurricance narrow one down to 14 inches and no issues.

I have cut down several tracks. We sharpen the backside of a sawzall blade on a bench grinder, then install the blade upside-down on the sawzall. It cuts like butter. I did my 163” Apex in 30 minutes.
