I just had to add the shim under the rear of the rubber. Both the Phazer and Nytro you add it to the side with no holes when its flipped upside down. Install a S.S. screw to hold the shim in place.

I did post that the shims come from Bergstrom..., he give them out all the time. I will talk to him and bring a bag of them to the Give Away ride.

im not cool lol i cant go to the giveaway ride but im think im gonna try to go to minnesota ride. i talked to Covert he said trails will need some snow by then tho ill prolly just make a shim out of something. seems like a good idea. i will have to make sure my toe is set right.

In the past ive made these shims out of old hyfax. cut them about 1/4 inch thick and the same width as the rubber. drill and countersink a hole in them and use a #12 screw to anchor them into the rubber.
And yes Scott Bergstrom is the man, over 2000 miles on a set of his triples and still turning like new.

Here is the rubber on my FX Nytro installed and this is the shim that I used from Bergstrom. I just did the Phazer and did not have to flip it around to get the same affect. I just had to add the shim under the rear of the rubber. Both the Phazer and Nytro add it to the side with no holes in the rubber when its flipped upside down. Install shim with 1 S.S. screw in the center of the shim to hold the shim in place.

tom how has this worked out for you since you did this modification? is the second pic after it is all put back together?

I'm sure he didn't mean to come off sounding so short. The problem with riding then coming back is he's totally blitzed with administrative type stuff.

I was with Mr. Sled and can attest that his trick does in fact do the trick.

I now have this set-up on my sled (Blocks flipped around with Bergstrom 1/4 ski shims) and it basically eliminated all darting. Great mod!

Now if I could just get the skis to turn.....
