I was having my Nytro dealer safety inspected (it was totaled by the insurance, I repaired, now needed a dealer stamp of approval that it was trail worthy to get re-insured) In any case, the sales guy comes over and says he has to at least try and sell me a sled before I grab my old sled and leave. 1. He doesn't want my sled AT ALL, he doesn't want any trade-ins to compete with what comes next. 2. He has 12 sleds new in the crate that he needs GONE, 14s, 15s, and the 16s. He first pitches a 15 apex with a short track, out of the crate onto dollies for sales floor, 0 miles only wear is people sitting on it so tiny scratches. I'm not really into it, so then he hits me with 14 viper RTX, 538 snow check miles, 8300. I countered with 8200 on the trailer with credentials, he said no way yesterday, but called me today and said he'd do it, cash, tuesday before noon (they're closed sun & mon)

I have the ability to pay him the full shot cash, but do you guys think its a killer deal that I can't pass up or is it just a good deal that I might be able to finagle at any time. I see 16 nytros (rtx and xtx) going for 9 or just above before tax and registration, that puts them around 10 on the trailer. I can squeeze that dealer some too (that one in person offered a 16 apex for 9100+fees and 60 mths 0%)

Sounds like a deal to me. What did he want for the short track Apex.

8900 for a 15 apex, holy crap I'm moving to the states. Anything seems like a deal to a Canadian lol.

Is it really used? Its been only used as a demo sled by the dealer, never registered and hence comes with a full factory warranty.

That doesn't seem like that much of a deal to me.......he's already been stuck with the floor plan on that critter for 2 years......you'd think he'd be a little more anxious to get rid of it before it costs him even more...........

Oh well, my Nytro was just the goose that laid the golden egg, it paid me 5800 after deduction for buying it back salvage from the insurance, I only put about 350 back in for parts to fix it, 40 for the dealer safety cert, and put the remainder in the bank. They never came out to inspect it, they took a look at the pics with the trees laying over it and decided to total it. Outside of a bent steering column it was nothing but cosmetic.

Perhaps you should keep the nytro. There are some kits out there that move the rear skid back using a longer track. Handling is said to be night vs day with new package. Lots of options with those sleds Engine package seems solid from day one

I paid a little more, plus set up fees for my new 15 ltx se. I don't think that's a killer deal unless it's studded with a 3 year warranty.

don't mean to get off topic but your daughters in your profile pic are hot!!:D

A few dealer's in Wisconsin have leftover 15's for $8500.,.... Brand new!!!

There was a dealer in NY with brand new leftover 14's for $7500

I purchased my 16 ltx dx brand new for 12,400. Two weeks later he drops to 11,300! prices will get cheaper towards end of season. I did pretty good for mid season while trails were open where I'm located. He treated me good with lots of extras at a discounted price.

I'd say $8200 is good for sure. Under $9k for an apex? Sometimes I'd love to to live in the states!

Do remember the 8200 is done, out the door, registered, taxes, prep, any and all extra bs in the price. So the sled alone price is like 7500.
