I plan to snow check a Sidewinder as soon as they are announced as I love what everyone is saying about them. I waited this year as I wanted to get some more real time input on them which is happening at this point. I currently have a Warrior and it has been great. I snowmobile a lot around the Traverse City area or secondarily in the UP. I think that I would prefer a dealer in the lower peninsula as I live in the metro Detroit area. I would appreciate suggestions as to a dealer and sales person whom you might recommend. I would like a dealer who knows the Sidewinder well and who can do tunes, clutch and other work similar to those that Dan has been great at describing. Dan and many others on here deserve all of the recognition we can give them for their excellent work and advice. Thank you Dan and all of the others on this forum. I do plan to do some of the work on the sled myself but time is the enemy and having a great dealer whom I can count on is really the answer for me. Thank you all very much.

T&R Yamaha in east Jordan. They were recommended to me by Yamaha guys. Randy (owner and sales) is top notch. They are a Yamaha only dealer and also a Yamaha pro dealer. Tracy (the mechanic) is super knowledgeable and always willing to help with any questions. I can’t say enough about these guys and have bought 2 vipers from them and will continue to buy my sleds, dirt bikes, quads, or whatever from these guys!

Port if you want to make the drive, best damn help on this site for parts from Kevin! Two of my sleds came from Nelsons in Greenville.

Sorry I have to stick to those that help us.. Port Yamaha or Pats Motorsports. Without those paying advertisers and VIP members we could not keep the server on.
Kevin at Port is the most helpful guy I have ever dealt with at a Powersports Dealer and I have heard nothing but great things about Pat's! G.B.

Pat's can help you with anything Yamaha and cuts you a good deal as well.... In Greenland,MI WUPMI. Customers come from all over IL,WI,MN,OH,IN to name a few states. Kip is your contact.

Pat Motorsports is great purchasing a sled next week there.

Currently on a backpack from paradise to lake of the clouds and back. Had a viper and venture go down within a day . Pats had both up and running in less than 24 hours. Great to work with. I live in tc and can't recommend ANY of the 3 closest yammi dealers sadly. My apex is from Meyer nice folks there too

WarriorDan...If you spend a fair amount of time riding in the UP I would highly recommend Pat's in Greenland as others have mentioned. They will meet and exceed all of the items that you mentioned that you're looking for in a Sidewinder. Kip the owner would be the guy to contact. His service department is second to none.

Port Yamaha in SE WI is another excellent choice. Both dealers keep the lights on here at TY and both support the sport. I just wish that I had a dealer close by that could match what these guys do.

If only there was someone closer.... ;)

We always recommend Port Yamaha. Several of our boat customers have bought new sleds from Port. And Kevin in the Parts dept is always helpful to me on keeping everything 100%.
