Anyone have any tips when putting stock decals on the sled? Are they put on like a sticker, where no additional adhesive is needed?

You are correct Dane.

Just like a regular sticker. If they are over 12 inches, get help from someone, so you don't get a wrinkle or bubble in the new sticker.

Use a wet application and you won't need a second person or have to worry about wrinkles. You can make an application fluid by mixing 1 quart of water, 1 drop of dish soap, and 2-3 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle. Don't shake it, just roll to container around to mix so you don't get a ton of soap suds. Spray it on the decal, slide it into position on the piece, and squeegee the fluid out from underneath.

Yes, that's exactly what the method is for. It helps you position the sticker, and eliminate bubbles and wrinkles.

Edited to add: I should mention that there are professional application fluids made specifically for this purpose, but the mixture I posted works just fine.

rubber spatula works real good squeegee the decal in place
won't hurt what ever you are putting it on either.gets all the
air and water out.

Thanks for the help guys, really appreciate it. I'm not totally convinced yet to put them back on. I kinda like the black look.
