Has anyone ever sat on a New Rev? My wife who has zero brand loyalty sat on them at the Novi Snow show and said these sleds are junk. They may be light and they may get good fuel mileage but they are build like junk.
Delivery hold up on E-TEC due to EPA

Why are they built like junk? I think they sit very comfortable and feel tons better than the old Rev.

We just picked up a new 09 GSX 600 e-tech in my families fleet of sleds. I wouldnt say its junk one bit. Gotta be honest, the e-tech is by far the most sophisticated 2 stroke engine ever built. Its quieter than my 4 stroke at idle. Also got a chance to ride a 09 nytro also, I would take the e-tech over it anyday. The 600 e-tech outperforms the nytro in both the handling and performance categories. Sorry yami guys, (I'm one also lol) just giving my 2 cents worth.

I owned a 06 600 rev. My friend has a TNT. I think the older revs look like they are built better. I'm getting a Nytro SE this week. the Yamaha is defenently built better than the XP. The rev is a soild machine. But the jury is still out on the XP.

As far as the handling I found the new XP to be very responsive and very forgiving, something the Yamahas have lost over the last few years. That is not to say that the Yamaha can't do it but the FX chassis is not going to run on "cruise control", if you screw up it will let you know it quickly.
To openly say they are junk by sitting on one, and to say they look cheaply built may be your opinion, one ride will likely change your mind. I have bled red, green, and blue but never yellow, and aside from ripping on my friends I don't care what the color is. It's the machine as a whole that gets my attention. Right now the Yamahas have it, you never know, after riding the XP last year there could be room in the fleet.
