Why is it taking so long for Yamaha to deliver their new sleds. I have always snow checked my sleds before & had them by early Sept. & at the most mid Oct. It is now going into Nov. & dealer has no idea when it will arrive, what gives. 2018Vector

I see this type of thread last year. Seems as though early orders don't mean early delivery. Last year Skidoo had a lot of guys asking that same question. It's coming.
My winder was at the dealer (stock unit). While guys that snow checked or early ordered were still waiting.

Any update on this in regards to the new Yamaha (built in Japan as opposed to the Yamacat) snowmobiles ? Have others taken delivery of their snow checked Yamaha's? Still waiting on the dealer's call to inform me that my Apex X-TX is in. Like TrueBlue stated, the last time I checked with the dealer, they too were unsure when they will arrive.

I just received work from the dealer today that their snow checked Yamaha's have shipped and they anticipate arrival within the next 3-5 days. Now, excuse me while I do my happy dance.:-o

nice!

throw in a couple of snow dances while you are at it.

I can remember in the late 70-early 80 the big hp sled would not show up until the first couple of weeks in December to get them any earlier you had to be on Yamaha VIP list. i worked for and i raced we would see the SRX back in the day in November in the middle of the month was just enough time to back the sled in and stud for the First race of the season which was the first weekend of December in International Falls, Mn.

You're killing me, smalls. :D

If it wasn't for the fact that I have a track and drivers to swap out along with all the other things I need to do (re-enforce tunnel protectors, HID lights, heated shield wiring harness, Yamaheater thumb warmer, Curve skis, Dupont slides, 135mm idler wheels, and some other accessories), I wouldn't be too concern. However, with our first trip of the season to the U.P. fast approaching (between Christmas and New Years assuming snow-gods abide), if it gets here any later I'm going to be busting my tail off to have everything finished in time. At least I already have the 1.25" track studded and ready to go so I got that goin for me which is nice.

my buddy just got his spring order brp 600

Last year was the first time I bought a new sled that wasn't a Spring order since 1975. That's not a typo either. I have Spring ordered every sled I ever bought since my 1978 Kawasaki Invader. The best part though is it was still a Spring order LE but I wasn't the one who ordered it. I also got the Spring order Sidewinder jacket.

Found out today from the dealer that the machine has arrived and will be ready to be picked up this Saturday. Boy, talk about a Thanksgiving Day miracle, ey?

TrueBlue, let's just hope that my snow dance is as effective as my happy dance.
