I m currently attempting to remove the Drive shaft bearing, I ve removed clutch, speed sensor, bottom sheet metal guard, and the set screw on inside tunnel. This is where I am now and cannot remove bearing yet. Those the chain case half to be opened up to push shaft out??... Is there a way to do without going in chain case. Sled as 6000 miles and bearing was a little rusty inside.
There are 2 set screws on the bearing your try to remove which have torx heads, take a good light and take a look from the bottom between the sheet metal gaurd and the bearing, loosen em up and it should pull off.

Yeah remove those 2 torxs and it should come out without problems. Pretty simple and easy to avoid breaking down trail side. Might have to give it a whack to brake it loose if it's rusty.

I just did mine today. A piece of advice for all, you need to remove the splined end of the driveshaft that the speed sensor reads. I used a 3 jaw puller to pull the bearing through and it wouldn't go through the splined end. The old bearing is stuck on this small splined shaft now.
