Drive won't engage on my Phazer GT

well so much for my GT. had a good season though, anyways it still runs but the drive wont enguage. it's almost like it's stuck between R and D with no hope of shifting at all, yes i've rocked it, bounced on the #*$&@ end and lifted and dropped the rear many many many times. I've done everything i can think of short of pulling appart the chain case and seeing if i stripped a gear. If anyone has any ideas of what this might be the please let me know and save me the blistering head ache of figuring it out alone. thanks.

mine is in the shop right now for that, i have a ? for you did you have your sled taken apart for a starter repair?

i think it's the gears in the top of the motor i will know soon what it is though as it still hasnt been played with it's bike season here.

Just grab ahold of primary clutch and if it turns motor over then you know its not the reduction gears.

motor turns with primary, as I said before, the sled starts, the primary turns, but I have a feeling it's something behind the secondary. I have a bad feeling something in the chain case is fried, anyways ya phaze 5 it's quad season here as well so I have all summer to figure this issue out. guess I'll not worry about this and focus on the rhino staying on the trail for the summer.

ok it is the drive reverise box there is a shift fork that gets bent. there is a slight wobble in the j shaft it causes it to mess up the gear box it happened to me 4 times before they got it right. the dealer could not figer out why it kept happing finly after the 4 time they replasted everything from 2 dray cluch all the way over to the chain case 3000$ layter thank god it was under worinty. yamaha is not easy at all to deal with. it works great now but before i but it a away for summer i saw there was chane case oil on the floor it is from the drive reverise box there they come to geather yamaha sed the are not going to pay for it now i am takeing leagle action. good luck

mine was a reverse actuator so they say 561 to fix it, now i have to get the frame and i'm back
