Malinoski is fast, and will make the final in Duluth, will he win? I don't think so, but don't count him out, the sled looks to be very good in testing.
Yes, this version does have electric start on board.

What type of sled does Yamaha have to produce to use in the Stock Class?? Isn't WPSA changing the displacement of the stock class from 440cc to 600cc?

4-stroke must have the clutch driven directly off the crank also, no gear reduction allowed.

Yamaha has been racing the Vector/Nytro for 2 years in sweden so they have some experience.

Right…but I’ve been told they didn’t race in the A circuit over in Sweden. And yes…they raced once in the USA – but nobody real fast was there …..and, well the results are published.
Don’t get me wrong – you couldn’t pry me off a Yamaha sled to ride anything else…all my small toys are Yamaha…well except for a Honda snowblower.
We have won a ton of major races on Yamaha and it’s my experience and depth on them so understand…. I’m NOT cutting up the new racer.
The two drivers are more than capable of winning and if they have some depth they will. By looking at that thing….I’d say the race should be for 3rd place and back. They should check out!!!!!
But…from what I see in the pictures…I think the only forward motion is going to be from the track paddles – not weight PLANTED by the skid.
Also – funny how they said – they allowed a few more holes to try different placement ….what’s up with all these young guys – just drill a new hole where required – this is mod – let the mind flow. :exc:
Again the guys are smart….maybe the final race mode will be changed…but from what I see….I would have had some things re-positioned right away.
Hope they do well.
